Omiros Yavroumis graduated in 2002 from the Royal Academy of Music in London, with the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees, under Professor Mateja Marinkovic. He has also attended master classes and taken violin lessons with Yehudi Menuhin, Maxim Vengerov, Ruggiero Ricci, Zakhar Bron, Leonidas Kavakos, Ivry Gitlis, etc., and has won numerous awards in solo and chamber music competitions, both in Greece and abroad.

He has appeared as soloist with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jelenia Gora Philharmonic, the Filharmonia Dolnoslaska, the State Orchestra of Athens, the City of Thessaloniki Symphony Orchestra, the City of Athens Symphony Orchestra, etc. He has also appeared as soloist and has taken part in chamber music groups and orchestras in many countries (USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, France and Italy), under famous conductors such as Sir Colin Davies, Sir Charles Mackerras, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Naeme Yarvi, Kent Nagano, Michael Tilson Thomas etc., in venues including the Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall and Royal Opera House in London, Grosses Festspielhaus in Salzburg etc.

In 2002, Omiros was appointed Concertmaster of the City of Thessaloniki Symphony Orchestra in Greece and in 2008 he was appointed violin professor at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. Pupils of Omiros Yavroumis have won prizes in national and international competitions and gained places at European and American Music Academies. Since December 2016, Omiros has been the Concertmaster of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and violin professor at the College of Music in Mahidol University.

Gabriel lee

Gabriel's multifaceted career spans compelling performances, education, and entrepreneurship. Equally at home on both baroque and modern violins, his playing has been praised for its “breathtaking intensity” and “a passion and concentration that was hard to surpass” (The Straits Times).

He has appeared as a soloist across the United States, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar, collaborating with ensembles such as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Red Dot Baroque, and Bachfest Malaysia. A dedicated educator, Gabriel teaches at the YST Conservatory of Music and the School of the Arts (SOTA), and coaches young musicians whose achievements include prizes at international competitions and admission to leading conservatories worldwide.

Gabriel has conducted masterclasses and coached ensembles across Singapore, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia, and regularly serves as an adjudicator for local and international competitions, as well as NAFA bachelor’s and master’s level strings examinations under the Royal College of Music (RCM) programme. He is also a member of advisory boards including the ABRSM Music Education Advisory Committee.

As a scholar, he has published and presented research at renowned international conferences and academic journals. His achievements have been recognised with awards and scholarships including the JC Van Hulsteyn Award in Violin and the Paul Abisheganaden Grant for Artistic Excellence. He holds master’s degrees in Violin Performance and Baroque Violin Performance from the Peabody Conservatory and graduated as valedictorian from the YST Conservatory of Music.

Kanin odommana

Kanin started learning piano and music fundamentals at a tender age of 4 and later began his violin lessons with Rear Admiral Veeraphan Vawklang at Bangkok Symphony Music school (BSS).

From 1997-2003 he was a member of Thai Youth Orchestra and has been a member of Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) since 2002. He was inducted the youngest member at that time. Kanin currently sits as Co-Principal 2nd Violin for the orchestra.

In 2003, Kanin was awarded a scholarship from HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana Classical Music Fund. After he graduated from Bangkok Christian College, Kanin continued his music studies at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, one of the oldest and the top music Universities in Europe. As the first Thai student there, Kanin has studied with Prof. Reiner Küchl, Concertmaster of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Wolfgang David an internationally known Austrian violinist and Prof.Jela Spitkova. Thereafter he pursued further studies in Master Degree Violin Performance at Music Academy Banska Bytrisca in Slovakia with Prof.Jela Spitkova and Viola Chamber music at University for music and performing arts Graz (KUG) with Prof.Stephan Goerner (Carmina Quartet).

Kanin has been selected to attend many master classes with famous violinists and performed often together with World-class musicians such as Midori Goto, Alberto Lysy, Joshua Bell, Boris Belkin, Roman Nodel, Jose Carreras, Mikhail Pletnev, Su-mi Jo etc. In 2006, he has served as principal second violin of the Niederösterreich Jugendorchestra and has performed under many orchestras in Austria such as Webern Symphony Orchestra, Recreation Graz, Sinfonietta Baden, Korean-Austrian Philharmonic Orchestra etc. In 2016, Kanin and his Quartet was invited to perform in International Guitar Week Graz.

In 2018 Kanin was chosen by BMW Thailand to be in the BMW Stories campaign and worked with Maestro Zubin Mehta.
