This round is open to participants who are citizens of Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Phillipines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam

CATEGORIES:

Junior (≤9 years old):

- 1 piece of candidate's choice (not more than 6 minutes)
- Born after 31/7/16 (Based on Registration Date)

Intermediate (≤14 years old):

- 1 piece of candidate's choice (not more than 10 minutes)
- Born after 31/7/11 (Based on Registration Date)

Senior (≤19 years old):

- 2 contrasting pieces of candidate's choice (total timing of at least 6 minutes, not more than 20 minutes)
- Born after 31/7/06 (Based on Registration Date)

Do note that monetary prize is only applicable to the 1st prize winner of each category of the Grand Finals held in Singapore. The 1 year string contract is a sponsorship for Alessandro Giuliani Violin Strings.
