After a 7 year hiatus, the Alessandro Giuliani Violin Competition is back.

The 2026 Alessandro Giuliani Violin Competition ASEAN Round will see the top competitors from different countries compete live for the jury in SINGAPORE on the 3rd of October 2026.

Results for PRELIMINARY ONLINE Round: 1/9/26

asean grand FINALS (live): OCTOBEr 3/10/26 in SINGAPORE

This round is open to participants who are citizens of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Phillipines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam

ASeAn ROUND grand FINALS (live): 3 october 2026 (venue tbc) in singapore

CATEGORIES:

Junior (≤9 years old):

- 1 piece of candidate's choice (not more than 6 minutes)
- Born after 1/7/17 (Based on Registration Date)

Intermediate (≤14 years old):

- 1 piece of candidate's choice (not more than 10 minutes)
- Born after 1/7/12 (Based on Registration Date)

Senior (≤19 years old):

- 2 contrasting pieces of candidate's choice (total timing of at least 6 minutes, not more than 20 minutes)
- Born after 1/7/07 (Based on Registration Date)

Do note that monetary prize is only applicable to the 1st prize winner of each category of the Grand Finals held in Singapore. The 1 year string contract is a sponsorship for Alessandro Giuliani Violin Strings.
